We have looked at different sentence types this week . Please look at the pictures in your book from last week and write an example of each sentence type below for each picture. So, you should write three sentences for each picture.
- Complex sentence — example: The alligator swam swiftly across the lake when it saw it’s prey.
- Sentence of 3 for description —example: The rat had small beady eyes, matted dirty fur and a long rope like tail.
- Connective/conjunction starter— (use a subordinate clause at the beginning of a sentence)—example: Because we needed some bread, my mum went to the shop before it closed.
Please complete the maths sheet sent home this week relating to multiplication problems.
Number gym— Keep practising your times tables if you have time to make you an amazing mathematician! You need to now be ‘lightening fast’ with all your times tables so keep practising. (3 dojos if you have a note in your planner to say that you have been on number gym for at least 20 minutes in total during the week)
Remember – even if you know your number facts keep refreshing your brain so you don’t get rusty.
