- Simple sentence— example: The alligator swam across the lake.
- Short sentence—example: The rat squealed.
- Compound sentences (add ‘and’ ‘but’ ‘then’ ‘so’ – example: The lizard licked the air and turned its head
- Question sentences (why, what, how etc.)— example: Why do wolves hunt in packs?
Please complete the maths sheet sent home this week relating to addition and subtraction problems
Number gym— Keep practising your times tables if you have time to make you an amazing mathematician! You need to now be ‘lightening fast’ with all your times tables so keep practising. (3 dojos if you have a note in your planner to say that you have been on number gym for at least 20 minutes in total during the week)
Remember – even if you know your number facts keep refreshing your brain so you don’t get rusty.
