Literacy – Using the picture below, can you write a list of 10 interesting adjectives. Then have a go at using some of them in a paragraph of writing.
CHALLENGE– For 5 dojo’s try to use at least 3 different sentence types.
Red– what, from, about, asked, them, back, don’t,they, like, some,
Blue– water, they’re, want, school, thought, should, would, something, night, around
Green– Morning, different, another, dragon, pulled, clothes, really, giant, across, stopped
Number gym—work through the challenges! Don’t move on until you are lightening fast! But, keep challenging yourself.
Year 4—be successful at the 3 , 4,6 and 9X tables in order and then have a go at them in random order.
Year 5—be successful at the All times tables in order and then have a go at them in random order. It would be great if your child knows all times tables by the time they reach Year 6.
Remember – even if you know your number facts keep refreshing your brain so you don’t get rusty.
