Sports Update!

In the last two weeks we have had a few sporting fixtures.

Last week, the girls played a football match against Barkston Ash. It was a very hard fought match and it was end to end. All the girls played very well and for some it was their debuts! The final score was 3-1 to Barkston Ash. Well done to: Emily, Rosie, Millie N, Millie D, Molly, Georgia, Casey B, Saffron and Imogen.

This week we played one of our first Year 3/4 football matches of the year against Barkston Ash. All the boys were very eager to play the match and played extremely well as a team against a very strong opposition. The score was 5-0 to Barkston Ash and we hope to improve teamwork and football skills in our next match against Monk Fryston.

Yesterday, Y4/5 children played in a Cricket Tournament in the Selby Cluster. They played against 6 teams and showed great cricketing skills such as batting, bowling and fielding. Brotherton finished 2nd in their group.
