Monday 23rd SeptemberBingo with a difference! Come join us after school, 3.15pm - 4.15pm for a bingo with a difference. We will be having bingo linked to phonics and you can play for prizes. During the session we will also be letting you know what is happening in school this year.
Tuesday 24th SeptemberYear 6 SATs meeting for parents at 6pm. We would like to invite all Year 6 parents to come and find out information about SATs and how you can help your child. It is also a chance to ask questions and buy revision books.
Friday 27th SeptemberBook Fest - 2.30pm - 3.15pm
We are having a day of reading with activities linked to books. All children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character to end with a book parade at the end of the day. More details will follow but keep the afternoon free if you can!
Open doors reading session for parents to join with children to find out how your child learns to read. 2.30 - 3.15 pm
Tuesday 1st October2.00pm Harvest Festival in church. This year our theme is ‘Harvest around the World’ and classes will be presenting where food has come from and how harvest is celebrated in different countries. If you would like to donate any tinned or dry food to our local food bank, please bring to school in the morning.

Bonfire night themed afternoon to include bonfire safety
Wednesday 6th NovemberParent forum 9.00am, 2.45pm and 6pm. We really appreciate parents’ views to help us improve the school further and this is an opportunity for you to help us do this. We will be holding forums every half term with a specific focus. This time we will be discussing how we can work in partnership to improve our children’s self esteem, reading, homework, opportunities for our children and fundraising for a community project. There will also be time to discuss any other thoughts you have on improving our school. Refreshments will be provided so please join us.

Pop in and spend as long as you would like seeing what we are learning in school and see our art exhibition. Please feel free to invite and bring along any parents with young children who may be interested in joining our school to share what we are doing.
