Monday 6th June – First day back after half term

Friday 10th June – Ouse Sharing Assembly

Week commencing Monday 13th June – Year 1 Phonics Assessments & Outdoor Science Week

Monday 13th June – Early Years Open Afternoon ‘Jungle Jamboree’ from 1pm

Nursery New Starters meeting 3pm

KS1 Transition meeting for Reception children moving into Year 1 – 6pm

Tuesday 21st June – School Reports go out to parents

Staff from Singapore school visiting in the afternoon (We are very lucky as part of the academy to have link schools in Singapore and some teachers from there will be visiting)

Thursday 23rd June – School Sports Day

3.15 – 5pm Drop in session for parents to discuss reports

Friday 24th June – Back up day for school sports day if the weather is bad on Thursday

Foss Sharing Assembly

Monday 27th June – Early years New Starters Meeting 4.30pm

Parents / Teacher transition meeting with current teacher and new teacher after school from 3.15pm

(This year we would like to offer parents the chance to come and visit your child’s new teacher together with your child’s current teacher to share any information and concerns you may have. A letter will go out nearer the time to arrange a meeting if you feel it would be useful.)

Humber Sharing Assembly

Tuesday 28th June – 6pm Brotherton’s Got Talent Summer Special  with Fish & Chip Supper.

Brotherton’s Got Talent is back by popular demand! This year we will also offer fish and chips during the interval (pre-orders only). Tickets on sale now, priced at £2 adult/£1 child for entry only or £5 for entry and fish & chip supper!

Wednesday 29th June – Whole school Celebration of Learning afternoon 1.30pm – 3.15pm

Parent / Teacher transition meeting with current teacher and new teacher after school from 3.15pm

Thursday 30th June – Staff Training day

Friday 1st July – Staff Training day

Monday 4th July – First day for children moving up to Sherburn High School.

All classes begin transition weeks in new classes.

Beginning of transition weeks for children starting in Reception in September who are not already in nursery at our school (Mrs Beaumont will arrange transition days with parents)

Thursday 21st July – Whole school celebration and Year 6 Graduation ceremony 6pm in the church.

(This year we are having a whole school Celebration of our Year. It will be a time to share some memorable moments from the year for every class and also say ‘Goodbye’ to our Year 6 children as they graduate to High School. It would be great to share this special event with as many parents as possible across school.

This will replace our Key Stage 2 performance this year but next year we are planning to run a Key Stage 2 performing arts club, building up to a performance in the Spring or Summer term so every child has the opportunity to perform)

Friday 22nd July – Year 6 Treat Day.

Tuesday 26th July – Whole school celebration picnic 12pm. Parents are very welcome to join us.
