We have been planning for our Spanish visitors to visit for two years and the time for them to visit has finally arrived!!

During the last week of term we will be having our Spanish themed week and children will be taking part in lots of activities linked to Spain.  We also have visitors from our link school in Sagunto visiting our school and Haxby Road School in York during the week.  This is an exciting opportunity for our children to practise their Spanish and learn more about what it is like to live in Spain.

On Wednesday 5th April the Spanish students will visit us for the afternoon and take part in activities in classes.  They will also take part in an art session with some children.

After school there will be a disco for KS1 and then KS2 children (further info to follow)

On Thursday 6th April our Spanish visitors will come to Brotherton again and take part in lessons, have school lunch with us and then at quarter past 2 we will all meet in the hall to say goodbye and sing songs that we have practised together followed by afternoon tea in the hall as a farewell.  Parents are very welcome to join us from 2.15.
There will be no enrichment that Thursday.
So, an exciting end to a great term!
