School Update 3/4/20

Dear Parents/Carers,

Well it has been quite a few weeks!  Children are now officially starting their Easter holidays and, as promised, a list of activities you may like to do is attached.  There are some great ideas so hope you find them useful. We are also sending some information about reading apps and websites that parents can access so children do not miss out on reading as we cannot change reading books from school at the moment.

Teachers will not be monitoring google classroom or seesaw over the next two weeks but please add any pictures of what you have been up to on seesaw if you would like to to share when everyone comes back.

Teaching staff are still working over the holidays to ensure we can open school if needed.  As it is such a worrying time and we want to support families as best we can, we will send out a very short google form on ParentHub to all families to make sure you are ok.  Please can I ask every family to complete as we will be checking next Friday and if we have not heard from families, we will be ringing to make sure you are ok. We will then do the same the following week.  If you have a worry and need to contact school before next Thursday, please ring the school number or email and leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Thank you again for all the support you have given your children and school as we all come to terms with the situation we are in at present.
