A Message from the Headteacher…

Good afternoon,

We have had another busy week in school finished off with ‘Children in Need’ today.

Next week our whole school theme is anti-bullying and we have some great lessons planned for children.  Because we are a restorative school based on positive relationships, we address issues immediately but it is always good to have these focused weeks as well.

I hope you are all coping ok with the current lockdown.  If you are struggling, please let us know as we may be able to support with our links to other services.  There has been some hope this week with the news about a vaccine so hopefully we can get back to some sort of normality eventually.

We are being optimistic and planning for opportunities outside of school next summer term.  These may still not be possible but we are keeping optimistic.  One opportunity is to have a Key Stage 2 residential again, as many children have missed out.  If these opportunities are not completely safe, we would not go.  We will be sending out a google form next week to parents to get your views so please keep an eye out for it on ParentHub.

Finally, we have some great news.  Miss Knight has got married!  So, Miss Knight is now Mrs Kellett.  After having to postpone her wedding in the summer, it is great news she could sneak in her wedding just before lockdown.

Have a good weekend and keep safe,

Mrs Fletcher
