School Update 3rd January 2021
Happy New Year 2021! I hope you have all managed to have a good Christmas and been able to have some quality family time. It was such a treat to have a bit of snow yesterday too.
I am sure you have seen on the news the discussions about whether all schools should be closed for a short period of time. I have waited until now just in case there are any further announcements from the government so apologies for the late message. Unless we are notified otherwise by the government this evening, school will be open tomorrow as usual, with our new drop off time between 8.40 and 8.50am.
We are doing everything we can to minimise any risks and keep our school safe as we have done right through the pandemic (as you can see from our risk assessment on the school website).
If the government does decide all schools have to close (other than to children whose parents are key workers and vulnerable families) in the coming few days/weeks, I have no doubt we will work hard together to make learning at home successful as we have done previously. A google form will be sent out tomorrow to confirm which parents/carers are key workers, just to be prepared.
I will be in touch with any updates but, as it stands now, I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Kind regards
Mrs Fletcher
