Dear Parents/Carers,

We have had another busy week in school.  This week we have focused on mental health as part of a national ‘Mental Health Awareness’ week.  The children have taken part in lots of activities around this theme and have even more strategies now to deal with different emotions.  As part of our Restorative Practice, we talk a lot about dealing with feelings so this week has been great to spend more time sharing how we manage those feeling and support others.

We have also looked at the celebration of Eid this week and finding out about what the celebration is.

Next week is ‘Walk to School Week’ so if you can, please try to walk to school rather than coming in the car as much as you can.

Lastly, thank you so much to everyone who could attend our parent forum this week.  It was good to share in more detail what we are doing in school and for parents to have a chance to ask questions.  If you couldn’t make it and have any questions about what we are doing in school or concerns, please give me a ring or see me in the playground.  I would much rather you let me know than worrying about things.

Many thanks for all your support.

Mrs Fletcher
