What a busy week we have had in school! School trips have started, with Year 6 going to Pontefract racecourse and having a great time. Swimming sessions have started for upper key stage 2 and we have had our first after school clubs for well over 18 months.
We have also had our first parents meeting in the hall, discussing the Year 4 and 5 residential. If you could not attend, please do not worry: I will send out relevant information and am happy for you to pop in and I can share the information too.
So a very busy but great week!
Today we are sending out what is happening in school with calendar dates. We have planned times when parents can come into school to celebrate learning in assemblies as well as some other events. We have been cautious so some events we would have run pre-pandemic will not take place this autumn term but fingers crossed we can run more events with parents next term.
Next week we are having a coffee afternoon on Friday in aid of MacMillan. Please join us at 2.30 if you can, make a donation and have a coffee. Hopefully this event can be outside which will be good.
Have a lovely weekend,
