Key Stage 2 Girls’ Football Tournament

Ten of our girls from team Humber and Calder made their way to Selby College to compete in a Girls’ Football event. The girls were extremely excited to take part and this was the school’s first sports event in nearly two years! The girls started well and played some good football. In total the girls played seven matches and you could see them grow in confidence in every game. The event was all about taking part and there were no points to win but it was great to see our girls scoring goals and playing with a smile on their faces. Well done to all the girls who took part, you represented the school brilliantly and we are all very proud of you.
