Good afternoon,

What a busy week we have had!  We have had a great ‘Pride Week’ in school and the children have had really good discussions and produced some great work on equality.  We are now reviewing our curriculum as a result of the week so please do let me know your views on how you think the week has been for your child.

Tuesday afternoon was also great fun when everyone took part in pancake races, including parents and staff.  It did feel like we could all enjoy being together, really for the first time in nearly 2 years.

Then we had ‘World Book Day’ yesterday.  There were some great costumes and we all enjoyed reading and reading for pleasure.

Unfortunately we will have to move some dates for events due to other commitments that have come up:

• Belated Christmas Lunch was booked for Thursday 10th March – we will need to change this – new date to follow.
• Celebration of Learning in School was booked for Thursday 17th March – This has been rescheduled to Thursday 24th March between 3.15 to 4pm.  Please join us then to look at children’s learning and meeting staff and governors.
• Parent teacher meetings have now been moved to Week Commencing 21st March – this will be online and bookings will be available soon but you will be notified.

Also, just a reminder that next Friday (11th March 2022) we have a teacher training day.
