We had an extremely successful Pride Week here at Brotherton and Byram CP Academy.

Our children learnt about how we are all special and unique in EYFS. In KS1 children learnt about how all the colours in the rainbow are for everybody and how there are gender stereotypes for toys, books, clothes and games. Year 1 created beautiful Pride flags! Year 2 wrote a wonderful Pride poem.

In KS2 children looked in depth about gender identify and challenging stereotypes.
