Dear parents/carers,

Welcome back to the summer term.  This year has absolutely flown and I cannot believe we are starting the summer term already!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the sunshine.  Fingers crossed we will have warmer weather soon after such a cold week this week.

It has been a good week in school and children have settled back in well.  We also have had some new children starting in our nursery so ‘welcome’ to new parents to the school.

We have lots planned this term with many events for parents to join us as well.  Calendar dates will be published on the website but I have also attached a copy of the dates to this newsletter so you do not miss anything.

This term we would like to invite parents/family in to read with their children on a Tuesday afternoon from 2.50pm.  Two classes per week will have reading so please, again, look at the calendar dates to see when you are invited in.  It would be great to see you and share reading with you.

Thank you to all the Year 6 parents who could make it to our SATs and residential meeting this week.  If you couldn’t make it and have any questions, please let me or Mrs Christie know as we don’t want you to worry about anything.

Clubs for most classes will start in a week’s time and children will be able to choose which clubs they want to attend next week on ParentPay.  Art Club, which has continued this week, is not on Tuesday 4th May but will continue the week after.

I hope you all have a lovely long weekend and see you all next week.

Many thanks,

Mrs Fletcher
