Brownlee Brothers Foundation Triathlon Event

Last week 16 of our children from Foss and Calder class attended the Brownlee Brother Foundation Triathlon Event at the York Sports Village in York. When the children arrived we had a quick briefing from staff on what to do and what to expect. The children were very excited to receive their free swimming cap and t-shirt before the first event. First up was the swimming before children quickly moved on to the running and then finally the cycling part of the triathlon. Our children got to experience what it was like to perform in an actual triathlon as there was no time to change between activities as children had to get straight out of the pool, put their trainers and t-shirts on and off they went! At the end of the event our children all said they had a great time and would love to have another go.
