Dear Parents/Carers,

We have finished our week with a very busy day (Children in Need and Key Stage 2 Cross Country).  The children came in very excited today for both events.

Thank you for sending in donations and raffle prizes.  We really appreciate your contributions.

Thank you also this week to everyone who came to our parent forums.  We discussed our mission statement and got some great thoughts.  There will be other opportunities for you to contribute so please don’t worry if you couldn’t make the meetings.

Every class teacher will have parent teacher meetings next week.  This is such a good opportunity to discuss how your child is doing in school so please do sign up if you haven’t already.  They are virtual again and we will then have a celebration afternoon in a few weeks when you will be invited into school to look at books and see displays of learning around school.  

Please don’t forget we have a teacher training day next Friday (25th November).

Next Friday is also when Mrs Kellett will be going on maternity leave and, fingers crossed, can have a little rest from school, before her baby arrives.  I am sure you all wish her well.

Mrs Everett will be going on maternity leave two weeks before the end of term.

We have appointed a teacher for Year 5 while Mrs Everett is on maternity leave.  Miss Smythe will be starting full time with us from January but will be coming in for a couple of days before we break up for Christmas.  

Miss Ellis has also been appointed to cover for Mrs Kellett while she is on maternity leave as well, starting after Christmas.
