Newsletter 2 December 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,
It has been another good week in school. Thank you to everyone who came to our celebration of learning event after school on Tuesday. We have had some very positive feedback.
To finish the week, we have had an ‘Out of the Classroom’ day and every child has planted a sapling for the ‘Queen’s Jubilee Canopy’ planting initiative. Thank you to those parents who came to help and fingers crossed we will see lots of shoots on the saplings in the spring.
We are now moving towards Christmas at quite a pace over the next couple of weeks! We have so much going on, it will absolutely fly!
Next week is very busy: We have our Early Years and Key Stage 1 Nativity performances on Tuesday (6th) in school at 2pm and 5pm. It is so good we can invite you in to watch this year, after 2 years of covid restrictions. This is a ticketed event so if you have not got one yet, please go onto ParentPay and order. We have 2 tickets per show, per family and everyone will need a ticket, including little ones as we are limited to numbers in the hall for health and safety reasons.
On Thursday 8th at 2pm everyone will be going to church to take part in our Key Stage 2 Carol Concert. Please join us if you can (no ticket needed).
The last week of term we have a Christmas disco, Christmas lunch and Christmas jumper day (full details will be shared again separately). On Wednesday we have also booked a pantomime to come in for all the children to watch as a special treat. So lots going on!
On a safeguarding note, we have noticed that some children are keeping phones in their bags. To keep all children safe, if children bring phones into school, they need to be handed in to school at the beginning of the day and collected at the end.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Fletcher
