Dear Parents/Carers,
As we start our last week of term, I wanted to say a massive ‘thank you’ for all the support you have given school since we came back from the summer break. The term has flown and the children have worked incredibly hard.
We also have some very exciting news to share. Mrs Everett has had a baby boy this week and Mrs Kellett a baby girl. They were born a day apart! All are doing well and we wish them lots of happiness.
Next term we have new staff joining us:
Miss Smyth will be teaching Year 5 while Mrs Everett is on maternity leave.
Miss Heron will be working as a teaching assistant while Mrs Kellett is on maternity leave.
We also say, ‘Goodbye and good luck’ to Mrs Forster, who is leaving to work at another school in the Trust. Mrs Lazenby will be teaching Year 4 children for the rest of the year.
But before then we all need to enjoy our Christmas break when it finally arrives.
Have a great Christmas and enjoy family time.
I hope children do not get up too early on Christmas morning!
