Dear Parents/Carers,

The children have done us all proud this week with two brilliant Nativity performances by Early Years and Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Carol Concert.  It has been so lovely to be able to invite parents to be there.  We finish the week with Year 4 sharing their learning so a great end to the week.

Next week is our last week before we break up for Christmas and it is very busy:

MONDAY 12TH DECEMBER

Christmas Disco –

Early Years – 3.15pm – 4pm (children to bring clothes to change into and will get changed in class)

Key Stage 1 – 4.15pm – 5.15pm

Key Stage 2 – 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Please note:

    • Tickets – £2.50 and include a hot dog, bun, sweets and a drink.
    • Tickets for the disco will need to be purchased on ParentPay with a cut off Monday morning (12/12/22)
  • Children will not need to bring any money to the disco.
  • Parents will need to collect from classrooms at the end of the disco.  All children will need to be collected by parents including those who have permission to walk home after school.

WEDNESDAY 14TH DECEMBER

Dib and Dab Christmas Pantomime – We are treating all children to a pantomime in school on Wednesday afternoon which should be great fun!

THURSDAY 15TH DECEMBER

Christmas lunch – If you have booked to join us for Christmas lunch, we will have two sittings as follows:

11 – Parents with children in Key Stage 1 and Early Years.

  • If you have children in KS1 or EYFS and also in KS2, please come to this sitting.

12 –  Parents of children in Key Stage 2.

Please note:

  • We can only have one parent per family due to capacity in the hall and kitchen.  We are expecting to serve approximately 350 lunches.
  • Pre school children will not be able to attend with parents due to capacity in the hall.

FRIDAY 16TH DECEMBER

Christmas Jumper Day – If your child would like to wear a jumper OR non uniform and give a donation to charity, then they are very welcome.  This year we are raising money for IDAS, a charity that supports people who have been affected by domestic abuse.

Please note:

  • School finishes at 3.15pm for the Christmas holidays.
  • We come back to school on Tuesday 3rd January

We should be well and truly in the Christmas spirit after all those events!
