Dear Parents/Carers,
We have one week to go before our Easter break and have had a very busy time this term.
This week children have been showing off what they have learned and are absolutely shining which is fantastic!
Our Year 1 children had a very successful and fun trip to Pontefract Castle. Please see Twitter and our website to see what they got up to.
We finish the week with Year 5 celebrating their learning in their assembly and have so much learning to celebrate.
Next week we finish our build up to Easter with our Easter service on Friday. I hope you can join us in church at 1.30pm.
Finally, last week it was shared that I will be retiring in July. Brotherton is in my heart so it was a very difficult decision but the school is in a great place with a great team – children, parents and staff working so well together to make sure our children get the best. As I am sure you will expect from me, I will be continuing to make sure all our children get the best opportunities and I have no doubt the next headteacher will continue this drive with you. I am really looking forward to next term and all the exciting things planned before I leave.

Easter Dance Camp being run by Dance Elite on Wednesday 5th April and Thursday 6th April.
Drop-off is from 9:00-9:15am & pick-up is between 2:45-3:00pm.
Brotherton Parish Hall Cost £18.50 per day.
This camp is suitable for children aged 4-12 years old and all children will be placed into age-appropriate groups.
