Amazing Learning Across School!
What a busy week we have had this week across our school! I was absolutely blown away by Team Derwent this week and their amazing performance in their Music lesson with Miss Wilkins. They have been working hard this year to learn how to read music, follow a score and play the recorder. I was lucky enough to hear them perform ‘We Will Rock You’ yesterday and they were fantastic! They combined playing the recorder with singing and they all did a great job. Well done team!
Meanwhile, over in Year 6, the children in Team Humber have been working hard in Science to develop their knowledge and understanding of circuits in Electricity. They learned how to use the correct symbols to draw circuits before testing them out with the equipment. Well done Team Humber. We are also very proud of the children in Key Stage 1 who represented us at the local Selby inter-schools Tri Golf event, organised by Mr Jeff. They all did an amazing job and had lots of fun!
Finally, we hope you are able to join us after school next Tuesday for our Celebration of Learning event. We look forward to sharing your child’s learning with you then!
