Super Sports Day!
Wow! What a super sports day we had this week on Wednesday! Thank you everyone for your support this week; we hope you enjoyed coming along. A HUGE thank you as well to Mr Jeff for organising the event and to all the school staff for running the event during the day. We were delighted to see how much fun the children had and how well they participated and challenged themselves. We were also very proud of the members of Team Humber, who not only enjoyed their final primary school sports day, but who also supported our youngest learners so well during the morning event.
Thanks also go to Mrs Caffrey, who counted up the results for each team. I am pleased to announce that the Yellow Team scored 4717 points, the Blue Team scored 5289 points, the Red Team scored 5369 and the Green Team won with 5606 points! Well done to the Green Team!
In other news, please can I remind families that bikes and scooters are allowed in school but children must walk with them only. To help keep everyone safe, please do not let children ride their bikes or scooters on the school grounds. Thank you for your continued support.
Coming up, please see below further details on upcoming events. In July, can I draw your attention especially towards two events: the Celebration of learning event after school on Tuesday 2nd July and our Summer Fair on the following Tuesday 9th July, also after school. We hope to see you there!
