Newsletter 19th December 2025

 Friday 19th December 2025

As we approach the end of 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support as we work together in partnership! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and enjoy the break. The children have worked incredibly hard this year and made so much progress; we are proud of each and every one of them.

We have had a wonderful week celebrating the season in school; thank you for your support. We hope you have enjoyed coming into school to the different Christmas events; we know the children have really enjoyed the festivities! I hope you are feeling festive now – we certainly are!

I want to also take this opportunity to thank you for your continued generosity as a community. The pupils have benefited greatly over the last few years from your contributions as a result of our fundraising. Funding always goes directly back to the children and recent projects have included a new library, HUB space, Forest School provision, eco-pod, exciting trips, visitors and musical instruments! This Christmas season we have been absolutely blown away by your support, with the Secret Room being a particular highlight for the children. We were also very grateful to see so many of you at our annual shared Christmas Dinner event yesterday – I’m sure you’ll agree that Mrs Land and her team in the kitchen did an amazing job!

As a result of your support this Christmas, I am delighted to share that we have raised an incredible amount: £1400! Wow and thank you so much for your generosity which will go back to the children in 2026!

Thank you!

In other news, as you will know from my recent staffing update letter, we are saying goodbye and good luck this week to Mrs Cummings, our SENDCo. We are thrilled that Mrs Jeff will be taking over this important leadership role in the New Year and there will be further information to follow. We are also really delighted to have Mrs Christie back in school and, as we grow our capacity, we look forward to welcoming two new assistant teachers to our team, Mrs Poskitt and Miss Linder, next term. We have so much to look forward to next year and we can’t wait to see how the children grow and develop in 2026. For now though, enjoy the well-earned break and special time together with your children.

Have a wonderful Christmas Break and see you in 2026, Mr Greene
