Brotherton and Ferrybridge Rainbows Camp 2015
The Brotherton and Ferrybridge Rainbows joined together to experience their first ever camping trip.
The Brotherton and Ferrybridge Rainbows were the first Rainbow units to camp in tents.
The Rainbows arrive on Scout Camp Tamarack at Barlow common nature reserve on the 18th June 2015 at 10am. All the Rainbows helped put up tents, sorting out their sleeping areas and learning about camp safety.
The Rainbows embarked in a number of activity’s whilst on their camp, Making Healthy Raps for lunch Team games Making Glass lanterns small exploration around the nature reserve to learn the country code and to gather clues along the way Camp Fire with marsh mallows
They needed to keep their tents nice and tidy and wash up their plates and cutlery.
The Rainbows settle down for the night with a bedtime story whilst drinking and eating hot chocolate and hot dogs All the Rainbows slept well and had a fantastic night sleep.
The Rainbows then were collected on the 19th June 2015 at 10am by their parents/guardians
The Rainbows embarked in an amazing adventure, they over come fears and gained lots of confidence, and showed fantastic team work.
