Dear Parents/Carers,

As we get to the weekend, having finished our first week of learning after half term, I wanted to update you on what has been happening this week with preparation for wider opening of school.

We have completed a very extensive risk assessment to ensure we are safe to open to more children and I am pleased to let you know that what we have in place has been approved by our Trustees which is good news (Please see the attached letter from our CEO) – Parent Letter 5th June 2020

This week, we have opened up to more children of key workers and will continue to do so next week.  Next week we will also be welcoming back a small group of Nursery and Reception children.  It will then depend on our capacity to staff other small groups of children after then, bearing in mind each group will not be able to have different adults at different times.  We would love to have more children from Year 1 and Year 6 coming in but will only do this if we can safely with staffing.

Teachers will still be supporting home learning and that will not change so please let us know if you need any support ensuring your child is accessing their learning.  I hope your children are enjoying the projects we are setting this term.

I continue to be so grateful to all of you for all the support, juggling of work/home and supporting your children to learn.

Please do contact me if you have any questions about school moving forward.

Have a good weekend and keep safe,

Mrs Fletcher
