Good afternoon everyone,

Thank you for all the learning you have supported school with this week.  We understand it can be very difficult at times to keep your children going, especially as we only have two weeks left until the summer so a massive ‘thank you’.

Yesterday the DfE published their latest guidance on children returning to school in September.  There is a lot of information and a lot to organise so, rather than giving you bits of information at different times, I am going to send out an information sheet as soon as I can before the end of term.

Next week teachers are dropping off school reports and they cannot wait to see the children! It will be great for them to catch up with their class at a social distance and check in in person before the end of term.

We will also be collecting in chromebooks on Friday and parents should have had a message on ParentHub with a time to drop off.  Chromebooks will need to be handed to a teacher, who will be at the gate.  Any damage to chromebooks will have to be paid for by parents.  We have to leave the chromebooks for 72 hours after they are dropped off, so we will not be able to do a full check of them until then.

As children have been so used to home learning, we are putting together some activities you may like your children to do over the holidays.  These are not compulsory but, as children have been home learning for so long, they may need something to keep them focused over the holidays.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Fletcher
