Good afternoon everyone,

We have had another busy week in school made extra special with our Zamble African Dance event on Wednesday.  I hope those parents that could make our assembly are not put off coming in again after joining in with the dancing!

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2 have all been on trips this week to Ledston hall and had an amazing time.  Autumn is a great time to go to Ledston and they thoroughly enjoyed identifying trees, leaves, den building and other activities linked to autumn.

Across school, classes have also focused on Black History Week to finish off our half term.

As we come to the end of our first half term back after the summer, I wanted to say a massive ‘thank you’ for all the support you have given.  It has been great to have more events that parents and family can get involved in in school.

Fingers crossed this can continue next half term and we do not have further restrictions.  It will be so good to see you all joining in events planned after our holiday.

But for now, enjoy next week’s break from school and see you when we return.

Many thanks,

Mrs Fletcher
