Cross Country Superstars!

Over 40 children from KS2  made their way to Selby High School to compete in a Cross Country event. Everyone  was extremely excited to take part and this was some children’s first school sports event in over two years. Everyone who attended showed great enthusiasm, determination and perseverance on what was a lovely autumn day. In total we even had 21 children who finished inside the top 8 of their races, which is a fantastic effort. We also showed great teamwork by cheering on all the children from our school who were running their races. This definitely gave us more motivation when running.   Well done to everyone who took part, you represented the school brilliantly and we are all very proud of you!
