Newsletter 18 February 2022

Good afternoon everyone,
Well we made it to half term. It has been a very long half term and all the children are definitely ready for a break. I hope the weather is kind and the wind and rain stops so everyone can enjoy their holiday.
We have a very busy half term when we get back and the first week is particularly busy:
- Pride Week – We are having a pride week, focusing on equality. The learning is differentiated across school. It should be a great week and very much links with our school values.
- Tuesday 1st March is Shrove Tuesday – pancake races will take place for all classes. Hopefully the weather will be kind and we can have races outside. Please join us at 2pm for races.
- Thursday 3rd March is World Book Day – Children can dress up as book characters – more information will be shared by Mrs Everett.
So a very busy first week back.
I also need to let you know about an extra day off to add to the calendar because of the Queen’s Jubilee. School will now be closed on Monday 6th June 2022. This will tag on to the spring bank half term holiday.
Have a lovely half term and see you all in a week.
Many thanks as always for all the support you give to school to make it a very special place for our children to learn.
Mrs Fletcher
