Dear Parents/Carers,

It has been so good to see everybody back today and I do hope you have had a lovely half term break. We have a busy week ahead:

Tuesday 1st March we have pancake races at school at 2pm – Parents are invited and we hope to have parents race as well.

Thursday 3rd March is world book day and children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character.

Friday 4th March Early Years are having their sharing assembly at 2.50pm.

Also this week is our diversity week and we are having a Pride week in school.

Just to let you know in advance we have a training day next Friday 11th March, School will be closed to all children.

Finally, although the government has reduced covid restrictions further, we are still being advised by the trust that if children have Covid symptoms to stay off school and have a lateral flow test. If children have a positive lateral flow test they will be advised to isolate for 5 days testing on days 5 and 6. Once they have 2 negative tests they can return back to school. I will keep you updated if this guidance changes but as we have come so far we need to continue to minimise the spread of the virus in school as best we can.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Many Thanks

Mrs Fletcher.
