Good afternoon,

Well what a scorcher of a day to finish our week!

Thank you to everyone who could make our Father’s Day afternoon tea and reading.  I hope you all enjoyed coming in.

Thank you also to everyone who came to our Sports Day this week.  It was so good to see so many of you.  It was a great day with children working in teams in the morning and then competitive races in the afternoon.  The children showed not only competitive spirit but empathy for others and resilience when they did not win.  What a great Brotherton team we have!

It is our STEM week next week finishing with our STEM fair on Friday at 2.15pm when the children will be showing you what they have learned during the week.  Please join us if you can.

Next week we will also send out information about our summer fair and fish and chip supper.  This will be straight after school on Thursday 7th July until 5.30pm.

I did say it was going to be a busy half term!
