24th June 2022
Good afternoon everyone,
What lovely weather we have had again this week.
We have had our STEM week this week and I hope those of you who could come, enjoyed our celebration afternoon today.
We now have only 4 weeks left before the summer holidays and in school we are planning for children’s transition to their next year group.
We will be talking to the children on Monday about which teacher they will be with next year and then over the next two weeks that teacher will be popping in to their class so they can get to know each other. During the last two weeks, children will transition into their new classes. I will share what that looks like on Monday, so you are up to date with what is happening in school. The children will have the last day with their current teacher to celebrate what they have achieved
This is the time of year, parents are thinking about what uniform needs replacing over the summer ready for September. With this in mind, I would like to invite you to a parent forum on Monday after school at 5pm to discuss our uniform policy and discuss if any tweaks need to be made. I am very mindful that our uniform needs to be affordable. Currently, all our uniform can be purchased from a supermarket. We do have logos on jumpers but this is not compulsory.
I also understand that, particularly this time of year, children start to grow out of school shoes and, with only a few weeks left of term, parents may be reluctant to buy new shoes. I would like to discuss a solution with parents so children can continue to wear black footwear.
So, if you can, please join me on Monday. We will meet on zoom on the following link:
