Year 1 had a visit from some crazy critters!

Team Aire had some special visitors in school. Eleanor from ZooLab introduced us to Colin the cockroach, Noodle the snake, Speedy the snail and Splat the frog. Team Aire enjoyed holding and touching the different animals while learning interesting facts about each one. Team Aire learnt that Colin has two brains, Noodle likes to eat mice and birds, Speedy can hang upside down using his super sticky slime and Splat uses his eyeballs to help him swallow food! All of the children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals as a part of their Animals topic in Science and are now using what they have learnt to help classify the animals into different groups.
