Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

We have had a very busy couple of weeks in school and the weeks are racing by!  We have had several sporting events that our children took part in against other schools, including tri-golf and girls football.  All the children did so well and we feel very proud.

This week is busy with our summer fair on Thursday after school and fish and chip supper.  The event starts straight after school so I hope you can make it.

Before this event, on Thursday afternoon our three Trust Pupil Parliament representatives are meeting  representatives from our other Trust school to celebrate what they have all done to improve our planet.  We have been planting trees, recycling and reducing electricity to help improve our planet.  From what has been shared during meetings throughout the year, it really does show that little changes make a massive difference.

On Wednesday and Friday, there are national teacher strikes.  Unfortunately, we have had to close Years 1, 2 and 3 as a result.  As you know, I don’t like closing classes but we have no other option this time.

This week is also the last week children will be with their teacher they have had this year until the final day of term as all classes transition to their new class next week.  I will be sending out a message tomorrow letting you know who will be teaching in classes next year.  We will be sharing this with the children tomorrow as well.

So, a very busy week ahead.

Thank you always for your support and understanding.  If you do have any questions about transition or anything else, please let me know and I can have a chat with you.

Many thanks,

Mrs Fletcher
