Going for Gold!

On Wednesday this week, Team BB sent a superstar team of athletes to the York Sports Village in Heslington to represent our school in the Triathlon event! Thanks to the hard work and organisation of Mr Jeff, the children were able to take part in the fun event consisting of swimming, running and cycling. Not to be put off by the rain that day, the children had loads of fun! They gave the event HUGE amounts of energy and were an outstanding credit to the whole school community! Well done team – we are proud of you all! 

Over in Scarborough this week, Team Humber have been out and about enjoying their end-of-primary residential. As you can see from the photos, the children had lots of fun  (more on X page online!). 

During the trip the children enjoyed den-building at Dalby Forest, bowling, time on the beach, a visit to the sealife centre, golf and a highlight of fish and chips on the beach! Thank you to Mrs Caffrey, Mrs Christie, Miss Smyth and Miss Haffenden for organising and running the trip! Without the time you give, opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible.
