Welcome back everyone after the Easter break; we hope you and your family enjoyed the time over the Easter holidays. It has been wonderful to return to school this week to begin lots of new learning this term! The children have worked very hard this week and have all come back refreshed and ready to learn.
This week, the children in Team Humber had an exciting lesson in Forest School learning about fire safety and toasting marshmallows. Last term, the pupils in Year 6 worked together with Miss Dickinson and Mrs Caffrey to clear the new Forest School Fire Pit Area during their sessions. During the session yesterday, they enjoyed the ‘fruit of their labours’ and had a go at toasting marshmallows together around the fire. The children enjoyed the session and we are very grateful to Miss Dickinson and Mrs Caffrey for their support in organising such fantastic provision!
This term there is lots happening and I would encourage you to take a look at the upcoming dates for your diary below. There are lots of things that we are pleased to invite you to come in for to join us with this term. In particular, please take note of key dates like sharing assemblies, Sports Day and the Summer Fair. Also, if your child is in Team Humber, please see the upcoming date for the Year 6 Graduation, which we hope you will be able to join us for.
