We have had another good week in school and our Executive Head and CEO who visited on Monday were very impressed!
The children are very settled into learning now and getting really excited about the projects they will be doing. We have a space project in Year 4 and this afternoon our Year 1 children have been making shelters out of recycled materials so loads going on!
Next week, I would like to invite parents in for a parent forum on Tuesday 25th January 2022 at 2.45pm to talk about what we have planned this term, what we are working on to improve our school and listening to your ideas. There will be tea and coffee available so please come to school a bit earlier and join us.
All classes will also be taking part in the National Birdwatch throughout the week. Why not take part at home? Have a look at the RSPB website for more information:
It is great to sit quietly for ten minutes and see how many different birds you can see in your garden. You don’t even have to be outside! Let us know what birds you see.
Next week we also say, ‘Goodbye and good luck’ to Ms Storton, who has been our School Business Partner for many years. She has worked very hard for our school and we wish her luck with her new job. She will very much be missed but I am sure she will pop in and see us when she can.
It may be wishful thinking but the nights do seem to be getting a little lighter so fingers crossed we will start to feel like spring is definitely coming.
Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week,
