Book Week!
PARENTS ARE INVITED TO OUR BEDTIME STORY AFTERNOON ON WEDNESDAY FROM 1:00PM. COME AND JOIN US FOR HOT CHOCOLATE AND STORIES FROM YOUR CHILD’S FAVOURITE AUTHORS.

Esk and Nidd
Ask your grownup to read you a bedtime story every night this week and choose your favourite to bring in with you on Wednesday afternoon to share with your friends.

We are hoping to go on a walk round the village on Tuesday to find out more about our journeys to school. This week a challenge at home is to paint/draw/take a photo of your home to add to our class map. All pictures in by Friday please.

Don’t forget reading for 5 minutes every night.

Your new sounds for the week will be written in your sound books to use to write a word a day. At the end of the week Aliens (and Monsters if they want to challenge themselves) should be using one of the words to write a sentence in their books.
Well done to those of you last week who got your stickers!
