Newsletter 21st March 2025
Friday 21st March 2025
A massive thank you for coming along and supporting our Spring Term Celebration of Learning this week! It was wonderful to open the classroom doors on Tuesday and welcome so many of you into school to see your children’s learning from this term. I know that the children were delighted to share their hard work and achievements with you. We hope that you found this a useful opportunity, ahead of parent consultations next week, to see what your children have been learning and how they are getting on. We are very proud of all the hard work that they are putting in this year!
As you know, next week is our next set of parent consultation meetings, which will be the final set of meetings this academic year. These meetings will take place online with your child’s class teacher and are an important way to find out more about your child’s progress this year in school. It is also a good opportunity to ask questions. Please ensure you have booked your appointment online and come and speak to your child’s teacher or a member of the office staff team if you have any questions with the system. We are more than happy to help!
Thank you for all your support with fundraising this week towards opportunities and experiences for the children. As posted yesterday, the winning raffle tickets are: 826 – 830 PINK / 436 – 440 WHITE / 256 – 260 WHITE. Please bring your tickets to the school office in order to collect your prize. Through a combination of selling refreshments, a tombola and an Easter raffle we have raised over £350! The Easter Egg competition is still running and there are a few spaces left to buy at £1 a space – please drop in to the office if you would like one. We are very grateful to Mrs Hand and Mrs Gibb for organising the fundraising and we are so grateful for your support, as always! Your support makes such a massive difference to the children in school and we couldn’t do it without you.
In other news, from time-to-time we recommend helpful sources of information to support families. If you have children under the age of 5 in EYFS, you might like to visit the BBC’s website and explore the content on ‘Tiny Happy People’. There is a wealth of information for parents about early childhood development, activities to try and tips. To find out more visit: https://www.bbc.co.uk/tiny-happy-people
Thank you for your continued support and have a great weekend! Mr Greene
