A message from the Headteacher …

Only three weeks to go until Christmas!  Lots of things are happening over the next few weeks so please keep looking at the website and ParentHub.  Thank you to all parents and family who came to our open afternoon today and visited our art gallery.  It was lovely to see so many in school.

As we move into December next week, I have no doubt there will be lots of glitter coming out so your children may come home sparkling!

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Key Stage 2 Christmas Carol Concert and the Christmas Fair next week.

What’s happening next week…

Tuesday 3rd December – Our ‘Friends of Brotherton and Byram’ are running a Christmas Secret Room again this year on Tuesday 3rd December. Presents cost £2 and children can buy for parents, grandparents and siblings. If you would like your child to buy a present, please would you send money in on the day with a list (if you feel this is necessary) of people your child would like to buy for.

Thursday 5th December – Our Key Stage Two carol concert is fast approaching and the children have been working really hard in school to learn all of the songs. The concert is next Thursday 5th December, 6pm at St Edward the Confessor church. Children are to come in their school uniforms but are welcome to to add a bit of festive sparkle such as tinsel. Some children have a small speaking part and will come home with this in their planners to learn. It would be great to see as many people there supporting the children as possible and in fine voice, of course, to join in with some of the carols!

Friday 6th December – Our Christmas Fair is on Friday 6th December 3.15 – 5pm. Thank you so much for all your donations towards our tombola and raffle. Everyone is welcome to the fair so we hope you can come.  Father Christmas should be coming too for the children to visit.
