Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Last week was extremely busy and children learned so much during our Black History week.  We also had Zamble dancing which was great fun – thank you to everyone who could attend the assembly at the end of the day (look out for pictures on our website).  To finish the week, Year 6 shared the learning they have been doing so a great end to the week.

Our Year 4 children had an amazing time at Kingswood and loved it!  I cannot wait to catch up with them to find out which activities they enjoyed the most.  They all looked exhausted when they came back on Friday but were still smiling.

Thank you to everyone who could come to our Parent Forums last week too.  It was good to share what we are focusing on in school to improve.  Next time we want to look at our school vision statement so I hope you can come along to work with us.

We have another busy week in school.  Today is Mental Health day – children will focus on their mental health and how we can keep our mental health positive.

Tomorrow we have headteachers from the Trust coming in to see teaching and learning so if you see them on the playground please let them know what you think about our school.

On Friday we have our Harvest Festival in church from 1.45 – please join us if you can.  We will be collecting tins and dried food for our local foodbank.  If you have anything you can donate, please either give them to the office or your child can bring items in during the week.

We only have two week’s left of this term which is quite incredible; the half term has flown.

Lots to fit in before our half term break though!

Thank you for all your support,

Mrs Fletcher
