4 November 2022
Good afternoon,
I hope you all had a lovely half term break.
We have started back well this week with lots going on. On Tuesday our Year 2 children had a ‘Victorian Day’, dressing up as Victorians and finding out what it was like to be a child in Victorian times. Mrs Jeff played a Victorian teacher very well and the children shared lots of great information they have learned so far this term.
Our Year 3 children also had two ex miners visit who talked about what it was like working down a mine and showed lots of equipment they would have used. The children were fascinated!
We finish the week with Year 3s sharing their learning which is a great end to our first week back.
I hope you have a good weekend and enjoy bonfire night.
See you all next week,
Mrs Fletcher
