3rd February 2023

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you so much this week to parents who could attend our parent forum and also who caught up with me about it.  We talked about our Personal, Social and Emotional Health and Relationship and Sex Education curriculum which I hope those who came or spoke to me found it useful.  If anyone else would like any information about this, please let me know.

We have had another good week of learning across school and the children are really flying with their learning.

This week, classes have focused on practical maths and several classes took part in a maths games carousel on Wednesday in the hall which was good fun!

I also shared with parents this week, proposals to extend the school day from 32 hours 5 minutes to 32 and a half hours from September 2023 to comply with government guidance.  We really appreciate your views so please take a look at what we sent out on ParentHub if you haven’t had a chance yet and let us know your views.

Next week is our final week before our half term holiday.  It is ‘Mental Health Week’ next week and we will be focusing on this in every class throughout the week.

Have a lovely weekend and see you next week,

Many thanks for all your support,

Mrs Fletcher
