Roald Dahl day – 13th September 2016

Today we celebrated the 100th birthday of the famous author Roald Dahl. We asked the children to dress up as a character from a Roald Dahl book and they sure did impress!! We saw Matilda, the BFG, Fantastic Mr Fox and Charlie Bucket! We are so grateful to all the parents for making such fantastic effort and bringing the children in looking so amazing!

Each class spent the day or afternoon doing a whole range of different activities to celebrate Roald Dahl day. Some children made and created their own potions from George’s Marvellous Medicine, some children collected data for Danny’s Dad about his raisins and where the pheasants were eating them, and so much more!
