Transition Day

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to let you know that the first transition day has gone really well.  I hope your children are buzzing about their day and telling you all about it!  All teachers are definitely buzzing about the first day too!

They are still getting used to new routines but by the summer I am sure everyone will be happily settled into their new class.  We started lunch back in the hall today too, which was great.  The children were very excited!  We still have children sitting in their class bubble and lining up in their class for lunch and not mixing with other bubbles but with two sittings; one for hot dinners and one for packed lunches, it worked really well.  Some children have never had their lunch in the hall since they started school so it has been very new for them. 

We also have some very exciting news!  Miss Dimmock got married at the weekend so is now Mrs Everett.  

So, a great start to our two weeks transition.
